JETTECH was established in 1996 by J. “Rob” Irwin with a goal of being a source for aircraft owners and operators seeking solutions to mandated aviation systems modifications that are not supported by factory OEM engineered installation.
Services first offered by JETTECH included the development of repair station certification manuals, repair station startups and help with FAA compliance issues.
RVSM Solutions
When Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) requirements were imposed by the FAA, the company began to work on RVSM certification and approvals, RVSM Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), flight and ground test certification and auto-pilot certification.
Proprietary RVSM Solutions
During the course of working with various customers to facilitate the RVSM process, JETTECH began to develop RVSM solutions for aircraft types the OEMs did not support in the aftermarket.
The company designed and engineered the systems and was awarded STC ownership for several aircraft types including Piper Cheyenne 400 LS and IIIAs, and Cessna Citation 500 series aircraft equipped with Bendix, Sperry and early King 300 auto-pilots.
The STCs for the Cheyenne 400LS, IIIA and Citation 500 series with pre-275 serial numbers, are the only RVSM solutions available for these aircraft.
Our Avionics Team Partners
In an effort to supply customers will quality RVSM solutions, JETTECH has partnered with highly reliable and well known avionics brands including
Honeywell, Thommen, Intercontinental Dynamics Corporation (IDC) and Skylight.
Innovative Products
For the Cheyenne IIIA, JETTECH is offering an RVSM ‘Lite’ program for under $100,000 installed that is available on APS-65 autopilot equipped aircraft. Also planned is a similarly priced ‘lite’ package for aircraft equipped with the KFC 300 autopilot. These two RVSM solutions utilize both Honeywell and Digital Thommen Altimeters
For the Citation aircraft equipped with the King KFC-300 autopilot, the RVSM solution utilizes the Thommen AD-32 Digital Altimeters.
Solutions in a Kit
The RVSM solutions are packaged in a kit that has everything needed for installation by a Certified Repair Station. Included are the specified digital replacement altimeters, air Data Interface Unit (AIU), pitot-static plumbing and fittings, wiring harness and documentation to support the installation process.
JETTECH RVSM solutions are compliant with the FAAs more stringent mandated requirements and exceed the FAAs TSO accuracy requirements.
